We met three years ago via an online dating site in hopes of finding new friends. After three dates, Bill and I knew we were meant for each. After one year of dating, we decided to take the plunge and get engaged. We got married 7 months later in my home town of Parsimony, NJ. Now, three years later, we bought our first house and are having a ball making it our dream home.
Neither of us have any DIY/decorating expertise. Bill is the handyman who hangs all the shelves and picture frames. I, on the other hand, decorate all the rooms in the house. It is definitely a team effort for the most part when making a room flow and look comfy at the same time. I wish we could make this our profession, but for the mean time we have to put food on the table to pay for my costly designer taste.
Bill is a civil engineer whose main expertise is on storm-water design. I am a marine biologist who is currently working on eco-toxicology studies in Easton, Maryland. In our spare time, we are either painting a room, buying furniture, making furniture, or playing with our dog Juno and lizard Yoshi.
